At Cea Exportadora Agrícola, we know that every tree, every species, and every river is part of a balance that we must protect. Conserving biodiversity is not only an environmental responsibility, it is also the guarantee that the cacao we export maintains its quality and sustainability over time.

Cacao grows in the Peruvian Amazon, one of the most naturally rich regions on the planet. There, fertile soils, forests, and wildlife work together to maintain a healthy ecosystem.

Why protect our biodiversity?

  • It promotes the natural pollination of cacao.
  • It protects crops from pests and diseases by maintaining an ecological balance.
  • It preserves soil fertility and prevents erosion.
  • It reduces the environmental footprint of agricultural production.

Our commitment:

  • We promote the planting of native species that protect the soil and provide natural shade for cacao.
  • We preserve forested areas within and around the crops, which serve as a refuge for birds, insects, and other animals.
  • We implement efficient irrigation practices and conserve water resources
  • We provide training in agroforestry techniques that combine cacao with other crops and tree species

Today we export cacao from the Peruvian Amazon to demanding markets such as the United States, the Netherlands, Malaysia, and Mexico. We have increasing production volumes under international certifications, and we continue to consolidate a model that combines quality, sustainability, and social responsibility.
